One-day yoga retreat · Pacifica, CA

Breathe. Move. Rest.
Come home reset.

A slow, luxurious and nourishing day of yoga and Ayurvedic wellness by the ocean in Pacifica. Gentle movement, deep rest, good food, nature, and time to just breathe.

Our philosophy

Rest is a practice, not a reward.

After our own long stretches of burnout and stress, it was small daily rituals that brought us back to ourselves. We started Reset Day to share that in an accessible format: you don’t have to take a full week off and travel far. It’s a full day of reset that actually fits real life.

Every detail has a purpose: small groups so each person is seen, light-filled rooms facing nature, warm ayurvedic meals cooked fresh, and ancient yogic wisdom made practical for modern life. Gentle, inclusive, and welcoming of every body and every level.

We’re committed to a zero-waste, zero-plastic day, because healing people and healing the planet belong together.

Traditionally trained in Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda at Pura Veda Gurukulam in Costa Rica, with additional training in Yin and Restorative yoga. Ami’s teaching integrates asana, breathwork, meditation, and Ayurvedic principles to help students release physical tension, quiet mental overactivity, and develop greater awareness of the mind-body connection.

With 15+ years in the technology industry, including high-pressure, screen-intensive environments, she understands the demands of modern work. Her classes are designed to counter prolonged sitting, forward-head posture, screen fatigue, mental overload, and chronic stress.

She believes yoga creates space to recognize and respond to our unmet needs with greater awareness and compassion. Through intentional movement, breath, and stillness, she helps students cultivate sukha (ease and flexibility) and sthira (strength and steadiness), leaving them grounded, energized, and restored.

    Experience Designer / Co-host

Kate fell into the work of experience curation and design when living in Hawaii and produced retreats there for her clients over several years. She loves creating experiences that allow people to feel into their most alive selves. On her own journey, she’s found many holistic wellness practices, meditation and mindfulness among them, deeply supportive, and she’s excited to bring that to others through Reset Day.

Kate feels most alive in the ocean (surfing is one of her greatest joys), along with bringing other people joy, and a perfect French pastry with a perfect cappuccino.
